NCAA-Approved Courses for Student Athletes

The Career and College Academy is proud to offer NCAA-approved courses to help student-athletes fulfill their NCAA eligibility requirements.

Our school offers in-person teacher support with extra flexibility that fits the training and travel schedules of student-athletes.

Our students have access to:

  • 30+ rigourous NCAA-approved core courses

  • Teacher-led classes with timely feedback

  • Flexible scheduling and courses that are offered year-round

  • Participation in athletic and extracurricular programs at Elkhorn Area High School or Williams Bay High School

NCAA-Approved Courses

College-bound student-athletes who want to play sports at Division I or II schools are required to have completed 16 NCAA-approved core courses upon graduation. Core courses in English, math, social science, and physical science have been reviewed and approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association as meeting its definition of a core course. Each of these courses is time-bound and meets the NCAA time frame guidelines.
